STRENGTHENING INDUSTRY THROUGH COLLABORATION
Unified efforts
for a competitive edge

Through its actions, Alliance Polymères Québec aims to mobilize and coordinate the actions of economic partners around common objectives and intervention methods to promote the development of the composite and plastic materials sector in the province of Québec and more especially in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Like the slogan of the ACCORD initiative, Acting together to be competitive, Alliance Polymères Québec acts as a catalyst and brings together companies in the cluster to help them prosper.

To achieve its objectives, Alliance Polymères Québec can count on the financial support of a program to support the development of strategic sectors and cluster of excellence of the Quebec government.

A recognized cluster driving innovation

This cluster is the first of the ACCORD initiative of the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec to be created in Chaudière-Appalaches.

This grouping of business leaders allows the Chaudière-Appalaches plastics industry to acquire a structuring lever to help businesses work together to be more competitive and efficient in order to offer diversified, ecological and high value-added products.

Several partners are involved in the process of the niche, to name a few, we find COALIA attached to the Cégep de Thetford, the Centre sectoriel des plastiques, the Centre de développement des composites du Québec (CDCQ), PlastiCompétences, Québec International, the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec and Services Québec (Emploi-Québec).
